Went Wilkos today got a few bulbs 75% off, all worked out to 50p including the sack of daffodils, the 2 parasol covers were 25p each I use them to cover my rotary line. Alliums were B&M upload_2017-12-3_8-34-42.png

Very jealous, all gardening stock has been completely removed from mine. Bear in mind they were two months late to add bulbs as well!

If you've been to Wilkos for their 50% off Xmas stuff sale, and found the shelves stripped of half price biscuits, chocs, sweets, shortbread, puds, etc., NB they still have most items available to order online and collect instore.

Only got 5 of these 37p individual Xmas puds instore, but with a Jan 2020 UBD might get a few more Matthew Walker Classic Xmas Pudding 100g

Full range: Christmas Shop | Decorations & Gifts | wilko.com

The sooner it's cleared, the quicker the seed spuds and full range of gardening stuff will re-appear. Please do your bit and help clear those chocs, shortbread, etc.

Popped in today and picked up a tub of Cuprinol for £2.50 :hapydancsmil:

Originally £10, also previously reduced to £8, & £5 but obviously they want to clear last years stock now so reduced further :)

Same here, but today there was a big 4 sided island display laden with Xmas stuff all 10p, they probably put in back in the storeroom whilst they've been moving stuff around, and only brought it back out again after all the gardening stuff was in its final locations. Our local store might also be one of those that gets sent out of season stuff from smaller ones that have less spare sales area/stockroom space.

Got a dog elf outfit was £5 (too small for our dog, but will be a 2018 Xmas present for one of his small friends, 3 x £5 dog Xmas stockings, 4 x £2 dog theme mugs stuff dog treats, packet dog theme Xmas cards, etc., probably around £45 to 50 at full price reduced to only £1.50.

We used to get reduced Xmas stuff for our daughter when she was younger, but now she's all grown up and away at uni, and we've got only got Dog to buy stuff for. Although I did find these 'fantastic' Xmas cards, they had 10 of them but Mrs Scrungee only let me buy 1 as she new our daughter would be angry if she got one every Xmas for the next 10 years.

P.S. Also found dog advent calendars reduced to only 12p at Poundworld this morning.

Just one question to fellow Wilko users . They sell 50L and 70L bags of compost , quality stuff at a good price . As most Wilkos are in town centres , ours is in a pedestrian area . How do you get the sodding stuff to your car ? I am not carrying it to the fourth floor of the car park !

Many have a loading bay around the back. Go to CS desk and staff will take your trolley there, then drive to the rear entrance (they might suggest you delay by 20 mins for somebody to take it there), ring bell and show receipt. N.B. You will lose the £1 in your trolley unless you request a refund from CS whilst still instore. Some only have a front entrance, so Mrs Scrungee waits outside guarding our haul of reduced stuff whilst I quickly get the car to outside the store.

I'm now careful of how much stuff I put in a trolley where there's no possibility of loading at back or front of the store. I once tried to push one of their small trollies to where I'd parked with it piled high with massively reduced bags of compost and it fell over twice spilling bags of compost everywhere.
