Saw all the episodes of Kiri on the telly and the final one was last night and the ending was quiet a let down and was expecting something a bit better. The acting from Sarah Lancashire was as usual superb as is every drama she has been in recently:yes:

We have also got into The Farmers Country showdown which is on every afternoon at at 3.45pm on BBC1 I got into the last last which went on for twenty episodes and being stuck indoors was happy to sit and watch it.What we didn’t realise was that they were going to show another 15 days worth so if we don’t watch it we are having to catch up with it later on as we have enough to do without being couch potatoes during the day as we don’t normally have the telly on in the day time:snorky:

Might give Requiem a go tonight but if they mumble too much or the plot gets boring we shall give it a miss:biggrin:

I like Sarah Lancaster, she's good. But i didn't watch Kiri,i thought that it wouldn't be very good.

Things that's on in the morning or afternoon i record and watch later.

I always watch Spiral on BBC 4 on a Saturday night. I like some of the Scandi dramas too. Hidden away on More4 at 9.00pm to night is the series of Rebecka Martinsson, Artic Murders.I've watched the first three episodes and enjoyed them all. I don't mind subtitles. Quite often I have to put them on those in English the mumbling is so bad.
I might record Requiem on BBC1 another new series.

I do a lot of that, I've a Humax HDR with a big memory. I record lots of stuff, but some I only watch bits of and some I "delete before viewing."
I've about fifty favourite films on its hard drive I've recorded off the TV and every series of Jesse Stone.
I've also some films I've downloaded onto my laptop from YouTube, put on a USB stick, stuck it in the Humax and transferred them to its memory.

I know it's nearly at the end but " Next of kin " on ITV has been an excellent series.

I felt quite moved by the ice cream seller who still kept the shrapnel damaged machine :cry3:

One of the problems with our HDR is that to add new channels, you lose all your planned recordings.
To get round this, before updating it, I photograph my several pages of planned recordings, then I can view the titles on my camera and add them to a new list.
