Solved what plant is this please

we have two just now and want to get more to break up the monotony of the border
quite attractive...my neighbours want to know as well!!

Looks like some kind of poppy.

 

Looks like a geum to me - maybe Mrs Bradshaw

armed with that info i could look up on google and its a spot on i.d.
will have some more later as i dont remember plant names to well
so...time to write them down

Definitely a Geum.



This is one of mine close up.

 

The leaves look like those of a Poppy

 

These geums are growing in my garden.

here is a picture of poppies.

 

I think we need to see a clearer pic of the leaves.
They don't look right for Geum.
They look like poppy leaves to me.

Start wrighting the names down...as I've always throwed the tags away ...Big mistake

 

Tetters I've just looked them up and they look definitely like a Geum which members have stated but they don't half resemble a poppy

 

Look again at the buds... those do not belong to a poppy!

 

OK Tetters carm down
