    Helloooooo

A mystery surrounded this plant since i got it. I thought it was an ornamental cabbage, used to be quite sort with larger leaves. Turned quite purple earlier this year, which i think happens when its exposed to cold temperatues, this was its first year with me. Barely saved from the frost and snow by bringing it inside....up to this day i still dont know what plant its considered...or if its considered edible

The miracle happened earlier this spring it started getting very tall and maaaany many yellow small flowers bloomed. After these bean-like sprouts grown through the flowers. So thats why i have added support to it.

Are those meant to be seeds that have to be collected after some time or now?
Are those branches meant to be cut off and propagated at some point? (small leaves pop on all of them)

    Thaaaank you :)

    Your ornamental cabbage has bolted.

If you are growing edibles, they become quite distasteful after flowering or having gone to seed. This is because the plant has used all of its energy to produce flowers and seed while its roots and leaves (usually the edible parts) become neglected.

It's not worth collecting the seed as it's an unknown variety plus you don't know which other plant it crossed with.

It's really not worth keeping now it has started flowering, it won't revive whatever you do. Best to pull it up and plant something else in the pot.
