    That'll be the one!
    Mine is now blooming.............
[IMG]Echeveria setosa by longk48, on Flickr

It's a big plant that is about 20cm across. At least two more flower stems and what looks like three offsets too...........
[IMG]Echeveria setosa by longk48, on Flickr

Unusually its flowers are borne on branched flower stems...........

Your going to the wrong garden centres gail:biggrin:

Mine has a couple of flower spikes also @longk , didn't realise the rosettes could get that wide.
I'm guessing by it's hairy nature that it wont like wet weather, but it's outside with the others for the time being.

Or supermarkets! Mine was about £1.50 in Lidl last year.

The lower leaves will turn to mush but up higher where the air can circulate they're fine. Totally cold hardy last winter.

I did buy three in Morrisons.
Really cheap, came with ceramic outer pots, cant work out how they can sell them for stupid prices.

I get it with some of the succulents, especially Echeveria, as so many of them reproduce easily from just a leaf. But how do they knock the cacti out equally as cheap?

The Echeveria cante which was sent to me by @pete (:blue thumb:) a few years ago has started to bloom................

A photo of the whole plant to show off the ghostly bloom that the foliage has. I put my size 9 in there to give a idea of scale............

Have to get E. Cante longk; it is a beauty...does it need to be out of direct sunshine?
I will be passing Surreal Succulents tomorrow so will see if they have that one.
I have a few echeverias and aeoniums but must have more :)

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but my E. cante just grows pups, only had one flower spike a couple of years ago and that never opened properly.
                          Haven't got a clean sized 9 so used a 330ml bottle.

I'm going to plant up some bigger pots next year, hopefully, kind of overcrowded them this year.

Pete, it looks like the effects of water in the centre there...?? The few echeverias I have are never watered; aeoniums, however, are watered :)
Mine are in single pots and quite large; they grow much more quickly too then in my experience:)
You have some nice varieties there .....individually potted I bet they will look even better
