Hessian sandbags for vegetable storage?

    Just got given (free is my favourite price) over 50 hessian sandbags 'left over' from a job, and can't see any obvious reason why they can't be used for storing potatoes, etc.

      Yep should be good, obviously will need to be stored in a dark place/shed as hessian will let in some light and turn them green.

        And these even more so than hessian potato sacks as they're a coarser weave.
