Ah yes, but there are tears, and there are tears. Don't you have any classical 'gems' to share with us? Let me re-phrase....a classical 'gem' (just to avoid a long list:D)

I wouldn't argue with that. I've ALWAYS been a music lover, and have a wide taste. I do however draw the line at C&W and (c)rap :D

This was an old 78 that we used to play on our wind-up
gramaphone (when we were very young)
        Still makes me laugh!

but my favourite is still Alan Price[IMG]

          Hiya Vicky.

I think the reason why I'm not keen on C&W is because it all sounds the same to me...sorry :o

A truly Iconic song Victoria............It's just worth to take a few seconds anyone and listen to the lyrics and cast your mind back to 9/11.

Countrry music is truly diverse,it's not all lost love, prison and drinking and yee-haa.
There are some truly great musicians specially in the Bluegrass field, some sad, poignant and comical lyrics, and close connections to Folk,Blues and Pop.
I would say something for everybody.........Even I don't like it all....:)
