    Hi, I'm no help at all but someone with more knowledge will know. A bit more info may help. What's it growing beside. Could it be an offshoot? What's the condition .. Sun, shade, dry, clay soil? Is it anywhere else in the garden?

          Thanks, it's just in a London garden, clay loam in between laurel hedge stumps.
