Solved Id help please!

    I planted this as a bare root plant that was labelled as Echinacea. It has grown fast and wants to climb but I don't think it is Echinacea is it? I chose Echinacea as I wanted the plentiful flowers.

    Did you get those from Aldi? I bought some Echinacea from Aldi earlier this year and they turned out to be (I believe) Saponaria ocymoides.

    Can't be sure yours are the same but they look similar.

      Either Aldi or Home Bargains, can't remember but sounds like a possibility!

      :sign0016: to the forum @Steve Ratcliffe. just read this thread, and agree with you. Your plant is far more likely to be Saponaria @wren1 ...... well spotted Steve :blue thumb:

        Coming back to this thread to say that they are selling 'Echinacea' in Aldi again and I am not falling for it again!
