Solved name the plant please

    I saw this plant near a local gym and it looks very exotic and beautiful

    It looks rather like Mahonia eurybracteata. One of the nicest Mahonia species.

            Unlike the other Mahonias Soft Caress is not hardy.

              I have seen plant labels suggesting -5c maximum hardiness but different suppliers give out different info, I occasionally get -6/7c's even down here in winter (I'm in a frost pocket) so I wouldn't plant one out. I would like to know if they have survived -10c!
