    Thanks @pete :blue thumb: I appreciate the advice and knowledge :dbgrtmb:
    My instinct as a gardener is to water :redface: I knew I'd heard somewhere that I shouldn't. I have googled advice and been left more confused :th scifD36:

          OH god, what have I done.:frown:
          Christmas cactus is not a desert cacti, so likes higher winter temps than most.
          You need to treat each species according to where they come from.
          I'd suggest putting that one back on the kitchen window sill.;)

                      Looks like a Cristate form of a cactus grafted onto a rooted epiphyllum cutting.

                        Looks like it could do with repotting into some free draining compost. We add chick grit, perlite, silver sand and horticultural grit to John Innes #2 40% JI to 60% mix of the draining components for cactus.

                            Just to be picky, I dont think the rootstock is Epiphyllum, but agree its some criastate cacti graft.
