        It has always fascinated me to see that the bad cloudy weather seems to lay all around this village, whilst the sun shines here on the righteous. We are high up on the north downs. Great!

                No idea.

                About 40 years ago I used to go to Folkestone regularly with a group of friends, stay at a campsite on the Dover side of town near the sea, next day take a cheap return passenger ferry trip to France, spend another night camping and return home following morning.
