It's very tempting when the catalogues come through the door isn't it. I must not do too much this year!

My veg seed ordered and delivered :)
The catalogues, yes, are very persuasive but apart from trialling one or two new varieties (that often flatter to deceive) I stick to my proven old favourites:)

Yes, definitely sticking to the same butternut squash seeds I used last year - they were brilliant. As were the courgettes and got some fantastic golden cherry type tomatoes that were prolific. The tomato plants were given to me so no idea what they were called but I saved some seeds.

Hi, it was Johnson’s- squash winter hurricane-apparently specially grown for early uk maturation. Had some absolute corkers despite it being a dry summer.

Thanks @Snorky85 - I have only grown it once before and although the squash were Ok, there weren't many considering how much space they occupied! So I'm looking for better varieties...

And for me 16 weeks and ....

Been making sure my sown seeds are at a comfy temp.

I ordered some new seeds the other day and will probably receive them before the end of the month.

Got some very nice vinca / pansy that is deep yellow witha sunburst of red veins, new tomato seeds, new seeds for various cole crop items.

I try to order my seeds shortly after the 4 catalogues arrive because I figure I'll order more than I need ut much less than what I would have if I spent too much time with the lovely pictures. :)
