I'm late chiming in. It's only 5 p.m. here and I'm watching Perry Mason whilst catching up here.

There's lots of men who are always going to want to see attractive sexy women no matter their other qualities.
I say let them pay. We'll pay for just about everything else so why not glammed up peep shows.

If a gal can make a decent wage in spite of the fact that her head is far superior on the outside than in, so be it. As long as it's her choice.

I was one of those 70's progressive women who pushed for equality. I was a single Mum and career woman and I never once looked down on those who needed a bit of advantage through their good looks.

I'm comfortable with how I made my way in life and hope everyone else is able to have the freedom to do as they wish.

Reminds me of one summer when they had first introduced self serve petrol stations. Kids were in the back, I'm attired in Tshirt and ball cap. Pumping gas and happy that I can serve myself faster than waiting for some dude to slouch out of the booth. An old boy came up and asked me to check his oil. I was startled nd said, "eh". He told me to stop being obtuse and hop to. Then I told him I didn't work there! Noticed he had lovely dental work :heehee:

I still have to be careful not to go to Home Depot (builders supply) wearing an orange shirt. At least when someone mistakes me for staff, I can direct them to the correct aisle.. :rolleyespink: :snorky:

Forgot to mention that my granddaughters informed me, last week, that I am very manly. Almost ran upstairs to see if I was growing a beard!

Thank goodness they clarified that by saying they thought that because I have all my own tools and use them plus can heave shovel loads of snow along with the best of them, I am quite capable of being independent.

Oh, forgot the thread is about moans....

OK, why is it that when a man shaves off his moustache, everyone comments but when a woman does, tnere is silence? :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I agree with you, @CanadianLori, I can do all of that myself as well. Mainly because when I was a kid my Mom couldn't and had to wait around for my laissez-faire father to do it eventually. Until one day she decided enough was enough. My bedroom was half-wallpapered because my Dad decided that he hadn't bought enough paper. And a week later still hadn't gone to fetch any more. So my Mom thought 'sod it' and started papering my room herself. And she finished it with a quarter of a roll left over. And did a good job of it. I was about 10 years old at the time and seeing my Mom's pride in herself and the way she had to hide that pride from my Dad so as not to hurt his feelings taught me a great deal about gender politics. Not that that was what we called it back then. Education is a wonderful thing.

Not always. One man at work had his moustache for two years. His wife eventually persuaded him to get rid of it. Nobody at work even noticed :lunapic 130165696578242 5: (they were all men in those days) and he was extremely upset. :noidea:

No one noticed when I shaved my moustache off in the late 80s, it took about a week before anyone said anything.
I had one of those droopy type ones that was common in the 70s.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

We've had 19 mini power cuts in just over 24 hours :mute:. They say there's an over head cable fault so they're continuously switching the power in the region to save just one large area having a continuous one. Sounds a good idea unless you want to do things on the computer. The mini cuts only last about ten seconds but it means losing what I'm doing on the computer, resetting the clock on some bits of equipment (e.g. the cooker clock. Even though it's a gas cooker the fan oven won't work if the clock isn't set  - the time doesn't have to be correct).

Yep always annoying, you get a power cut, sorry we must call it a "power outage" these days;)
comes back on, then you go round sort out all the clocks etc.

Then it goes off again for another 10 seconds.

I think they are just having a laugh.

I continually experience power surges. At least that's what I think it is when the lights flicker. And things don't seem to get full power. Worried it will ruin my appliances.

Today I had to put a new battery in the Dodge Caravan. Glad I did it because we are in the minus temps range both day and night and I would not be happy getting stuck in this cold. But I had to go to a nearby city to get the make I want. Why do local places only sell rubbish replacement parts!

Could also be a 'brown out' where power is switched from one plant / transformer to another

Walked in town today, raining with a very cold wind, decided to go into KFC for a bite to eat and get warm. I didn't eat it all and took the rest home for the birds. On the way back indoors a Seagull :steamy:on my coat:mute:
