Thanks @Fat Controller , yes it had been a dark cloud over her and the family for the last week.....but now we all have sunshine ( metaphorically speaking that is)

Needed a new kettle so had a look in Morrisons whilst picking up the weekly shop. Ended up with a glass kettle as looking at the water level indicator or opening the lid to have a look was just getting too much...

Anyway, we didn't notice until we got home that the kettle has a ring of blue leds around its base. Very handy, when it is pitch black and you need to do something with boiling water.

What's that all about?

 

It's Shrove Tuesday today so having pancakes for tea/dinner at about 3pm. we have dried fruit currants in them when cooking with lemon juice and sugar.

 

Lemon juice and treacle on mine Logan..can't wait...

 

Sounds great made a plain one for the boys, nothing else on it.

 

My furry Goldie will be having one too..
