Vanishing strawberry plants

    Just that. My three plants have gone from a container and some wild strawbs runners in another place also vanished. No trace. Never seen the like in a long gardening life,

    @Islander77 where you live, its probably Kelpies that are to blame. Were there by any chance small hoof prints near where the strawberries used to be? :biggrin:

    Ah but Kelpies are Scottish! NOT ALLOWED over here! lol
    Any other ideas welcomed! ie horticultural ones!

    I thought that they were Scandinavian, and went wherever the vikings did.

    Horticultural answers? On here? A gardening forum?:whistle::heehee:

    Seriously, some of mine disappeared a while ago. I never found out the proper reason. Possibly drought conditions?
