    Hmm!
    May I suggest you go and have a really close look.
    Your pic has 2 different plants.
    On left with left over yellow flower looks like Geum urbanum...common name Water avens.

    Other plant...?

      well spotted, I was referring to the plant on the right of the picture.

      yes this is it thanks! But it’s not the common name I had in my head (Loosestrife) Perhaps I’m getting mixed up with another plant.
