Solved IDs needed please

Can these plants please identified please and if they flower. Big thanks in advance for any advice

 

1) Geum, but why no flowers or remains of them?
2) ? A bit fuzzy, possibly a Cranesbill/hardy Geranium.
3) Columbine
4) As (1)
5) As (3)
6) Lily of the valley

The first plant was given to me in the spring, looking unloved, hopefully ive brought it back to life but no flowers at all has it given me. I was given the other plants at same time and none have flowered I must be doing some wrong?

 

No 3 and 5 looks like Oxallis.
I've got some and whilst it does flower, it's a bit invasive.
No 1 and No 4 look like a pesty weed to me, and if not strike me down because I've dug quite a few of similar ones out and binned them!
Agreed it's Geum, but i found that they self seed all too easily..

 

Ok so someones given me a weed to plant? the geum is a weed?

 

There are weedy Geums and there are super ones you can buy from garden centres.

I'd go with @Scrungee on 3 and 5 columbine (aqueligia)

 

Thanks for the info, im just hoping ill get some flowers from these plants next year as this year ive had no luck.

 

I only comment if I see something I'm familiar with.
As mentioned, there are various varities of these plants, yours may well be fine..
My soil here has been worked/composted for 60 years and therefore any tenacious plant will self seed to a point where it becomes too invasive.
I gave my opinion to give you a possible outcome but you could well get great results with your plants and I hope you do.
You'll see I didn't diss lily of the valley and that's because they are in my humble opinion one of springs loveliest plants.
My 'Oxallis' aqueligia plants (the leaves are similar) flower in shades from pale pink through blue to navy blue but I still need to thin the blighters out.
If you were given the plants by a friend then I guess they are good one's and I'd expect them to flower well next year.

Not necessarily!
A friend of ours only gave away the most rampant plants cos they grew so fast.
Knowledgeable folk would have said ....no thanks.
Novices don't know and say yes thank you ...how kind!

3 and 5 are not Oxalis......an invasive plant...a no thanks pest.
They are Aquilegia...fab plants..yes please plant.

 

It can be a matter of personal taste.
I've got swathes of aquilegias and i pull clumps of them out to give other plants a chance.
I guess they just like the soil conditions here.
They self seed too easily in my bluebell areas.. (I love my bluebells)
So the ones shown here will have to come out I'm afraid.
