Favourite songs from way back when.

Just listening to the Travelling Wilburys

 

My earliest memory of a song is Nancy Sinatra's These Boots Are Made For Walking' closely followed by Petula Clark's 'Downtown'
If I hear either of these songs now they still make me feel a bit strange for some reason.

 

Always liked the Wilburys, not many of them left now.
Lyne Anderson, was she a one hit wonder?

 

She was a singer songwriter and television personality.

 

I remember them.

 

Also at that time Cilla black

 

Cilla always grated on the hearing.

 

First record I ever bought, around 1963. Wipeout by the Surfaris.

 

Yes my hubby doesn't like her singing for the same reason and celine Dion also Barbara Streisand.
I think that it's a man thing.

 

Barbara Streisand had a fantastic voice.






Celine Dion always sounded like Barbara, but she chose some pretty awful songs, Cilla was ok when she was young but her voice was never good and it went downhill badly as she got older.
