I was going to design and build my own Tardis, but it was too time consuming...

Thanks to @shiney I came up with an idea for a new type of lawn mower.... Just cant find a company wise enough to buy the design and put it into production....

 

Partially, but the biggest reason was a lack of time. My apologies for not getting back to you.

 

Updating our little greenhouse heating controller (arduino based) to a larger touch screen so we can easily alter the preset temperature values etc.

Might even be able to make it wifi or bluetooth compatible as seems its the only way the younger ones can work things these days ...

( did you see the gadget show last friday where they tested and set up a wifi kettle !!!
So you take the kettle off the stand, go and put it under the tap to fill it, return to the stand, then pick up your phone /app to turn it on ! )

 

From what I have seen of todays design engineers, it was more good luck than good management. In other words, you are correct!

@shiney there is such a thing. After observing sunflowers follow the sun, someone invented a sun tracker that directed the panels but it is super expensive! I keep my sunoven on a"lazy susan" type of set up so I can easily spin it to get the most heat or turn it to get less and simmer things.

I'd love a special mat for around the toilet base that would splash back at those who miss the bowl...
