Love the carpenters

 

I think my favourite Carpenters' song is Rainy Days and Mondays

 

I like them all, got all the album's

 

This was the b side of only yesterday single

 

I do too. First of all I wrote that my favourite song was Top of the World and then changed it to RainyDays and Mondays ... but I haven't really got a favourite one.
I've got a vinyl album and keep meaning to get CDs. I'll have to do it.

 

I thought that i saw your first choice and then it disappeared,
no haven't got a favourite.
I haven't got any vinyl album's any more, hubby got rid of the turntable for a CD player in the late 80s, I had to wait for them to come out on CDs, i was most annoyed about it.

 

I bet you were annoyed too @Logan ! ... I bought a modern turntable a few years ago, it looks like an old fashioned gramophone but it can play CDs and cassette tapes as well as vinyl records . The trouble with records is that they have scratches on them, although my Carpenters' one is all right.

 

I had to wait a few years before they came out on CDs and then it was a collection that came out first. CDs were remastered so in a way the sound is clearer and don't have to replace the needles.
It all depends on how the vinyl records were looked after, as yourself i was very careful to put them back in their sleeves so they wouldn't get scratched.
