 Sowing's the easy bit, isn't it, @JWK? I'd love to know how our local nurseries attain such big, beautiful plants so early in the year!

I'm not sure I'll be growing any Toms this year!!!

I'm far to busy arranging work on my new house and I thought the house purchase was stressful, project management at a distance beats that!

Seems Maxicrop tomato feed and Seaweed products are well liked here, but not everywhere local seems to stock it.

Noticed a few agricultural outlets stock it at a decent price, but not sure if they are just clearing old stock.

Can anyone recommend a good online supplier who is likely to have fresh stock ?

Maxicrop seems to have gotten expensive here recently.

Ive used seaweed used by horse owners ? Weird i know but cheaper.

Also Home Bargains has the Doff seaweed back in . Seems really good stuff and only £1.99 for 1.2ltrs too, winner .

Help needed please. Been suffering for what seems ages due to Long Covid I don't have the energy to repair one of my plastic growhouses, so the question is:

Can I put Tomato plants quite close together.
                    Thanks.

Tomatoes don't like to be touching each other, so best practise is to put them 18" apart. I usually squeeze them a bit closer and give them lots of ventilation to lessen the risk of botrytis.

Does anyone think that maybe some people cram too many plants in, and may actually get a better crop from less plants, with more space per plant?
