Please help...before I "go off on one"?!

A bit of background first...my younger sister has mild learning difficulties (and a very kind heart!). She came around while I was out for the day, and decided to "tidy up" my various pots - and scrub them clean! Thankfully, she kept all the bulbs she found (albeit all in one bucket) and I now have no idea which pots they were in, or what they are. I have attempted to sort them into shape/size and am hoping that someone can me ID them from the photos - and also advise me whether I should replant them now, or wait until the autumn? TIA!! EDIT: Last two photos are in my 'Reply' below...the site seemed to think I'd uploaded more than 12 files?!

Might I suggest you start again.
Bulbs now are really pretty cheap to buy.
Then you can know for sure that all the bulbs in the same pot will be tulips, grape hyacinths etc.

In Scotland,Brodie castle specialises in Daffodils...may bred by Major Ian Brodie, they are the fore runners to our modern hybrids. All were neatly labelled...until a child removed every single label. Big OOOPS!

We treated ourselves to 2 of their heritage daffs...
1. Narcissis Crimea.
2. Narcissus Dulcie..see pics below.

Id say no2 is grape hyacinth.

Can you remember what bulbs have flowered so its a case of matching name to picture?

Probably would be easier just to start again though.

 

Yes, start again with your main display, but put all those bulbs your sister cleaned into a large pot/tub and you will probably get an amazing display next spring

 

I usually either plant in the garden or discard container grown bulbs.
They rarely, with a few exceptions do as well the second time round.
