I'm not sure what is happening to my lawn at the moment - I thought it was in good condition but now I have noticed toadstools growing in various places. They have only appeared over the past couple of days.

Does anyone know why they could have suddenly appeared or how to deal with them?

    Thanks 213216048_283358300207111_6414872743123257865_n.jpg 212256314_852369305375978_8421708100375430095_n.jpg

They don't really do any harm, although they do often make the grass grow stronger in the areas where they are and cause darker green patches.

Now and again, I have had lots of mushrooms growing in my lawn. Particularly when we've had lots of rain.

My only regret is that I don't know if they are edible

They will soon disappear, what you can see it the fruit body. Most of these tend to show up and disappear very quickly.

if only they were magic mushrooms lol.
