This Abutilon hybrid was rescued from a skip at a well known home discount store back in April. There was a load of them in there, all dried up, so I took a punt and grabbed one. It is now in full bloom and I've got lucky with the colour...............

Clerodendron ugandense, outside for the summer.

Calliandra surinamensis, also outside for the summer, both have extremely sticky flowers so they are not kept in the conservatory anymore.

Mine has recuperated from it's scale infestation but I have not noticed sticky flowers on mine. My friend has a very large shrub and I don't remember stickiness on his either. They are so delicate looking.

Strange @Victoria, removing the dead flowers makes my fingers as sticky as if dead heading petunias.
