    Hi
Can anyone please help me to identify plants in son's new garden and also advise on the best way to care for them
    Not sure if some are weeds? IMG_20210913_083733.jpg IMG_20210913_084149.jpg IMG_20210913_083745.jpg IMG_20210913_083533.jpg IMG_20210913_083533.jpg [/ATTACH] IMG_20210913_083619.jpg

The climber in the bottom picture looks to be a honeysuckle and I think the red berries in the second picture are honesuckle berries growing through the plant the leaves belong to. Third picture down looks like it could be elderberry seedlings, will have a distinctive smell.

Yes thought it was but berries confused me.
Are they from a different plant?

        Thank you for confirming
Any tips on how to care for this please?
A lot of it was dead so it's been cut right back although think this should have waited til later in year?
Will it still grow next year?

Russian vine On the fence I think.
A closer picture would be good.

I dont know about the red berries, I've never grown Virginia creeper, but I think it must flower and fruit at some stage.

I'm squinting a bit, as I do, but it could be ground elder, or it looks like ash seedlings....:dunno:

Ash seedlings or ground elder should come out. If it was roses you should be able to feel or see the thorns.
Honeysuckle is fairly tough; though prone to go bare at the base and only flower at the top.
I think I might remove some of it at the base to see if this encourages it to sprout low down, can be a pain to do this as it forms a right tangle.
Or you could stick a bush in front of it to cover the bare bits. Just trim thop back after flowering to keep to the allotted area.

Closest I could match was lenten rose, or christmas rose(helleborus), but I'm sticking with my original thought

That would be covered with white flowers at this time of year ( unless they've all been cut off).

I think there might be some Ivy in there. Who is responsible for maintaining those fence panels?

Well I can see white flowers but having since looked on a bigger screen on my PC I think Nigel is right with honeysuckle.
