The Blairs didn't pay stamp duty because it wasn't required legally on their particular house purchase. We would be daft to believe that virtually all MP's don't have savvy financial advisors/conveyancers..
The great expenses fiddle that they all took part in, shows what a wholesome band of individuals they are across all parties. Over many years MP's did the public over for a much greater sum.
We know they're all diddlers, Boris got in with his brexit promise. Next time anything could happen. We choose to damn Blair now, but he won 3 general elections on the bounce with large majorities. No other Labour leader has come anywhere even close to that record.. Wilson in second place and that was a long long time ago.

Allegedly Boris is looking at allowing Council's to increase Council Tax by 9% next year. Well what did we expect - furlough and top up to Universal Credit have to be paid for.

Not a moan, but I've just seen on the TV, members of the public dragging protester of of a bridge they were blocking

About time too, if the police are scared to do it then it only fair. This is not the way to protest and they should be dealt with by the police

Strange that they can break up a peaceful vigil but stand there talking to idiots blocking the highway.

Given the protestors want publicity; my thought is they stick themselves to the road, the police close off the road and then leave them stuck there with a number they can ring when they get bored and unstick themselves.

Or remove them from their shoes and arrest them for obstructing the highway.. Or is that no longer an offence?

'Insulate Britain' have lost any sympathy I had for their cause. They stopped a woman going to see her poorly Mum - despite the pleading of the daughter. What sort of people do this? What does this say about 'Insulate Britain'.

There are plenty of ways to make your point - that don't impact upon others. Take out an advert in the tabloids; have a go at your MP/Counciller; get up a petition and force a debate in Parliament.

Annoying the driving public is not going to promote anything, or at least anything positive.

Who are these people? Get a job and stop living on benefits.
I'm sure many will disagree on here, yes sure some have jobs.
              Oh well that's my opinion.

Totally agree, when i wanted insulation i went out and bought some from B&Q.
Whilst these people are glueing themselves to roads they could put a few shifts in to give them the money to fund themselves. Why should the tax payer pick up the bill.
There are already schemes in place to help the really vulnerable.

I think they glue their hands.
Dousing them in acetone is probably illegal as well.
