I've made a potato soup for tomorrow and will probably have a small bowl tonight. And I'm finally finishing baking the Christmas cakes. I had to go out this morning so couldn't do it then. Plus the fact that I don't really measure the fruit, I just throw a mixture of raisins, candied fruit, peel, etc in a big bowl and marinate. This time I went a little overboard. Had enough for three recipes. :hate-shocked: Better dig out my stretchy slacks...

Change of diet for 2022 - and it seems to be making a difference. I'm not one for getting on the scales - it's more to do with how I feel in myself.

I've replaced the toast and jam with a bowl of oats/milk with demerara sugar. So - oatmeal in the morning - high protein lunch (vegetables and a nice steak) - oatmeal in the late afternoon.

Difference - I'm not constantly hungry or thinking about food. More energy and look to be losing weight. But as I say, I'm not going to jinx it by stepping on some scales :blue thumb:.

I do take supplements - Vit D and Zinc to boost the immune system - Vit C and Cod liver oil. But then I've done this for some time now.
