I disposed of my 15 year old variegated Bougainvillea as it was woody and stopped flowering but a cutting from earlier it the year is flowering.

A recent addition, there seems to be a current trend for mini houseplants and I saw some Anthuriums and bought one although it will need repotting in the spring.

Not in flower yet (and another mini), a novelty Schlumbergia as it is named Tricolore which really is three different cuttings in the one pot, possibly red, pink and white. A single colour may look better I'll wait and see!

It is a pretty colour Logan and nice and healthy. Ours, which lives outside, doesn't bloom till JanuaryFebruary.

Thank you Victoria, I don't look after it much. It's been in the kitchen for years but it didn't flower, so I put it in the conservatory, there's a lot more light there.

Many years ago I used to have those mother in law's tongue, that's easy as well but nowhere to put them. I only bought it because of the name.

Our Christmas Cactus plants all bloomed in November, but usually bloom again around Easter too.
We have several Mother In-Law Tongue plants and many Peace Lillies scattered around the house as they are suppose to help clear the air.

To be honest I am getting better at using the ' proper' names, but find the spelling is often a challenge...let alone the pronunciation!!!!? :heehee:

Beryl's mother was a lovely lady, very friendly and chatty. We got on well together.
Beryl also got on well with my parents, in fact she got on better with my family than with her own ... she said so herself

                          What about yours ?
