        Hi,

        Whilst treating the car interior leather upholstery yesterday afternoon a huge black menacing cloud appeared directly overhead; armageddon sprang to mind and I thought we're really in for it so I quckly put the materials away and headed up into the bungalow; the cloud disappeared; I think it's got it in for me. No rain yet though but overcast this morning and currently 12C.

        How come so many are having heavy rain but we're not; I'm still in Yorkshire aren't I? :scratch:

                            Yes it is, it was closed to traffic 34 years ago this coming August. It was, in it's day, a very ,very busy rat run of a road and accidents happen very often, can't imagine how it was ever possible for two way traffic ( including a twice daily milk tanker collecting milk from the neighbouring farm ) to negotiate driving along it....and to think I had to walk down without streetlights from work each evening too!! :yikes:
