Summer at last. I'm enjoying studio time; this morning adding another six 13A sockets; the power station can go on overtime.

24c and mostly sunny atm.

 

It is dry and bright but a very stiff wind. 18°C at present. I went to B&Q earlier and in the exposed car park, with the sun behind the clouds, it felt like an October day.

The breeze is refreshing but the sky is gin clear and the colour of everything is very vibrant.

Here the day started off lovely & sunny with very little in the way of clouds. By mid-morning that changed to mainly cloud cover but now 4.30pm the sun seems to have come out again & it feels pleasantly warm. The wind is a bit of a nuisance though & quite cool. Max temps today around the 20C mark & tomorrow looks to be a very similar day!

 

Another cool mainly cloudy and breezy day, just like the last five, only 18c.

I think the Highlands have skipped summer completely this year and the heating has been back on for the last three evenings. It's July for goodness sake!

A fair amount of sunshine around but also some heavy dark clouds that have threatened to open. It's also windy again and the temperature today slipped further, a high of only 13C/55F.

 

It is the same here. The cats enjoy the heating being on but I can only think about the cost.

 

Jocko we'll have to keep our fingers crossed for an Indian summer.
