    SunnyGin,

What is SMFL. Sorry but I'm not familiar with the acronym.

@Ademission I think it stands for supermultiflora, but my seed source hasn't been online for A while so won't know. He did send me a few multiflora's but this was by far the greatest number of inflorescence on a plant.

Didn't realise that tomato gardeners had to burp?

Biggest yet. An azoychka might just beat it though, will see.

Getting more than I can eat now, will dehydrate some IMG_20220808_192651683.jpg IMG_20220808_192357582.jpg

@Hanglow Such a nice haul there and some very pretty looking tomatoes too. I've dehydrated some and stored in kilners in Olive oil. I've now taken to freezing bags of chopped ones for sauce later, that is , the ones don't end up on the plate first. The weather we are having is good salad weather.

I'm considering it for some of the plants which produce 1lb+ fruit. I'm not sure there will be time for further large fruit development, growing and ripening. Still undecided though. Also when cooler temperatures come The fruit sometimes suffers a bit with scars etc. And if winds and rains pick up then a large fruit developing higher up is bound to be tested.

The cherries throw out fruit quick to grow and ripen so they can keep going until the frosts. Besides, any that don't ripen, as long as they get to blush will ripen indoors quick enough.

The greenhouse lot can keep on going although now they have pretty much filled the capacity of my lean-to they need some constant trimming.

I still have some not yet ripened which is surprising, even on the early fruit. Still some time to go, but might need to force these soon...
