Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

The hail has amounted to 3mm of rain, I'll add that to the 0.5mm we had on the 16th and call it 3.5mm this month up till now.
Unheard of for February.

 

Should you have had more or less?

It is sunny/cloudy here now, 16c with a light breeze and rain in the air but sadly nothing that will materialise.

 

More obviously its hardly rained all month, been damp but nothing measurable.
I 'm just hoping it doesn't turn into a soggy summer like it can, come June.

 

Think you've had more than me ... and it is rain season here. It has been a very dry rain season so far with not a lot of hope left for March.

 

Clear sky and a gentle breeze from the north east temp 4c feels like 1c
The sun is going down now.

 

Yesterday was a mixture of sun & clouds with a NE wind which made it feel colder. During the afternoon it was mostly sunny. No rain & no frost though the temps fell as low as 2C. Max yesterday were no more that 7-8C.

Today we began the day with a fair bit of sunshine even though a bit later some clouds came along. The sky was never completely coved by them today & most of the day it has been very sunny. A light NE wind continued today & temps never got past 7C. Tonight they are again forecast to fall as low as 2-3C.

I was able to see Venus & Jupiter in the SW just as the sun was going down but before it had disappeared below the horizon. Later about 7pm they really stood out in the western sky! I think they say that on March 1st they will be so close together in the sky that they will look like just one "star"! (An optical illusion as they are really many millions of miles apart).

 

That breeze has be bone chilling today. Tonight is cold too.

 

The first completely cloudless sky for months with wall to wall sunshine and no wind. It's supposed to linger for the coming week - we'll see. 10C/50F
