What's your Weather Like November 2024

On leaving the 'English Riviera' early this morning , we had a pinky/red sky to wake up to before our travels back to South Wales, lovely day. Home and it's not cold and just about to sweep out the front steps, the big Wisteria leaves are everywhere .

 

Well 3pm and the clouds are just starting to thin and I can see a few chinks of blue sky.
10c. feels cold.

 

The weather is starting to break here with snow promised on and off throughout next week. This morning was sunny, this afternoon cloudy and it's been windy all day. Warm at 15C/59F

 

The fog cleared quickly and then it was cloudy all day with light winds from the west south west temp now is 5c feels like 5c.

 

Weather looks to start to head to winter, fair number of frosts forecast and some potential for snow. Today was fairly mild though



Although it does look like summer sun has finally decided to arrive, last seen early June 2023 I believe

Tree fern is wrapped for the days ahead. I still hope we get snowflakes next week.
BTW @Sheal when I read that website about the November weather sayings, one of them said if plants flower in November, then winter lasts until May. This was exactly what we had in 2020/2021, when my gladioli here in the UK and my niece's gladioli in Berlin flowered at the end of November, early December.
This year, winter will be over at the end of March!

Too dark here to see properly, but it's cloudy and damp. O'night low of 6 degrees [7 just now at approx. 7.20am] with a predicted high of around 7 or 8 degrees, and a mix of showers, clouds and a bit of sun, with a strong breeze. Snow and ice/frost for us early next week too, and probably some frost/ice overnight tonight.

Yesterday was pretty overcast all day, with a few bright spells, and rain at night. The high was 12 degrees, but increasingly windy through the afternoon.

The native prims flower on and off all year round here @shiney, so they're always a welcome bit of colour on grey days. Think I posted a photo yesterday of some

My gladioli came out on time

 

Cloudy then rain later and on Sunday and the whole of Monday. Then drying up and temps will drop so we will get some proper frosts next week and maybe some snow.

Max 11c today.
