@Tidemark I'm sure the President of the United States of America knows guano when he sees it. After all that's pretty much all he speaks.
Time for the Penguins to have their say then. Their guano is considered an asset - unlike that emanating from the White House
An MP claiming £900 ( per month ? ) to be able to keep her dog in her 2nd residence I'm hoping this was an April Fools joke but wouldn't surprise me if not.
Friends in the travel business in the U.S. say that there has already been a drop in bookings for holidaymakers going to the U.S. It is nearly 10% down in the last few days with people from other countries deciding to boycott U.S. holidays. They have no idea whether that situation will get better or worse. Canada, Australia and France are, so far, topping the list - after Asia and Indonesia. The tourist industry is hoping it will only hit them by a drop in 5% but they fear it may be at least 15%.
Not an April Fool's joke. It is simply a matter of dividing it off from the rental instead of including it as most landlords do. Some landlords won't allow dogs, others allow them them but at a higher monthly rental and others separate the two charges. Some of them that have the charge separate consider it a returnable deposit if there is no damage by the pet. That makes sense to me . We have a friend whose dog we won't allow in the house because he can't control it. Nice dog but a real pain!
People worry about AI influencing the world, well it turns out that the silly tariff situation destroying the global economy was likely formulated in chatGPT.
