@Obelix-Vendée . not sure which to address first. First, yes we know business went to other countries, and that Trump wants to bring back. It was the Democrats that forced folks to seek labor out of USA because of their stupid taxes, when that is all resolved JOBS here will increase. Example did you know because of Democrat TAXES, people in California and Washington State are moving to other states.

Lets see now,---the last paragraph, Democrats have already ruined the education issues with American children, putting education funds totally to the states is exactly what should be done. Each state is unique in their profile of what is needed, not some person sitting in some office with not a clue. And he has not touched Medicare or Medicaid, so the health provisions remain untouched. And he has not touched Social Security. And he will not touch those three . As far as sexuality--- no sports minded women should ever compete with a man, that is so wrong. it you think they should it's a shame.

So I guess your in favor of ----if your grandson at age 8 told his teacher---he thought he was a girl---then the teacher would report it to her superior, and the child at age 8 be started on gender blockers to become a girl, and not be allowed to tell his parents, guess you agree to that. SMH. And that is what Democrats want.

I see no discrimination from him on race etc. it was actually the Democrats that did all that.

Did you know, prior to Trump owning his resort in Florida, no resort would allow any Black or Jewish folks to be members. When he bought the resort he allowed everyone.

The other points I could probably prove wrong information. But frankly tired of it all. Trump is my President, and totally love everything he's doing. And if other countries have issues with it they can pound sand. We have given enough money to other countries over the years. Lets face it if it was not for USA France would be speaking German now.

I think maybe there is a case for diplomats to get a pay rise! By the nature of their role, they are required to talk, in a diplomatic manner, to any foreign power, no matter how repulsive or extreme, to keep the lines of communication open in the hope of better relationships.
Just imagine, however, having to speak to anyone in the current White House, and then being accused of ‘kissing Trump’s’ backside. Above and beyond anyone’s job description!
How anyone could still be supporting him is beyond comprehension. Are his followers either ignorant and deluded, or ethically devoid of morals, and as big a crook as he is?

I see that he has now signed an executive order overturning past efforts to conserve water in showers and toilets! Add that to the grossly incompetent release of water which he boasted would have helped put out the LA wildfires ( and didn’t go anywhere near them), there must be farmers throughout the states fearing for their future. Anyone in their right mind would be doing their best to protect the future self sufficiency of America’s food chain. But that would be anyone in their right mind. His ‘beautiful hair’ isn’t going to feed the nation.

that information is so funny. Did you know for the past 20 years the state of Colorado will fine the homeowner if they use a rain barrel to collect water off their roof/gutters, so to use the water for their gardens. And that is a democrat state. The incompetence of the LA wildfires was due to the Democrats not maintaining their woodlands and open grass areas correctly to prevent fires, and they themselves LOCKED up a dam full of water to put out the fires. The fires if you recall were way prior to when Trump took office. Trump later went and opened up that dam and tons of water is now available. Again, more misinformation. And I will give you an additional yummy piece of information, of the 1600 burnt out homes, so far only 2 building permits have been issued, lets blame Trump for that shall we. Nope it's a ill run Democratic state.

Do you understand that each state governs their own rules, at state level. Then there are Federal rules. Federal rules do not always supersede the state rules. So if you hear of a state doing something, it is because that state wishes to do it, not that the President had them do whatever that was.

So what i am hearing here is that "some" folks love the idea of an 8 year old child doing gender reassignment and not telling its parents. What a boom that will be for the psychiatrists 10 years later sorting all that our, and big pharm will be making all sorts of money there.

And, that it is ok for a male volleyball team (says they are transgender) to play against a female volleyball team of "real" women having the female of the team getting her head cracked by a volleyball spike from the transgender side. Seems "some" here love all that. Good for you.

@redstar, the Democrats did not run gov well. I am sure Trump getting on with things he said he would do is a breath of fresh air for his supporters. Will the standard of living for the average American increase under him? That remains to be seen. I hope it works out that way as US citizens have been continually shortchanged by the wealthy in power there.

I would say the US has not given away money to other countries. What has happened is it has funded projects, but the contracts have gone to US businesses and profits have been funnelled back to the US. The wealthy elite, eg Bill Gates, similarly make money from the poorest across the world. It may look like they are funding vaccine programmes or whatever, but they are instead making vast profits from tax payers in poor countries. This is not, of course, the fault of the American people. It is the wealthy perpetrating a scam.

I would recommend a book titled Confessions Of An Economic Hitman, written by an American, John Perkins, who helped run some of these cons around the world. It is sobering stuff.

Of course, the US is not alone in being run by the super wealthy at the expense of everyone else. The UK is too, all masked by the class system (with a royal pinnacle) and the old boys’ network. The EU is too, run by the Brussels bureaucrats milking the system. Russia is too. And so on.

The fight is not US workers v Chinese/European/Asian workers. It is between the 1% and everyone else.

Oh, and on the subject of transgender athletes, no one who has grown up male should ever participate in female sports. And children should not be indoctrinated by cults within education settings. IMV. :)

Looks like a lot of Republican supporters voted on the basis of one or two campaign headlines, and either ignored the other elements, or more likely were not even aware of them.
Would I vote for protection of vulnerable children, yes, would I ban men from women’s sport, yes.
Would I vote for someone who was prepared to threaten to take over other countries, use his position to make personal profits at the expense of my country, and tell lies over and over again? And would I trust them? No, no, no and no.

@redstar - not the wrong news sources or misinformation but verifiable.

US educational achievement has been falling for decades and is now 31st in the world.
            Education Rankings by Country 2025

According to a Business Insider report in 2018, the U.S. ranked 38th in math scores and 24th in science. Discussions about why the United States’ education rankings have fallen by international standards over the past three decades frequently point out that government spending on education has failed to keep up with inflation.

Individual states already have considerable control over education. If you look at educational achievement by state, the red ones come out worst

Detroit car manufacturers started moving production out of the USA in the 80s and 90s - Republican presidencies under Reagan and Bush for 12 years from 1981.

You can't blame it all on Democrats.

America, and the rest of the 'developed' world buy from China because they can make stuff for a fraction of the cost of making in the USA (for example). Chinese workers earn far, far less than American workers meaning prices would skyrocket. Also, how long do you think it would take to build the factories and train the workers to make everything currently imported from China and other countries. 'Reality check required'.

With respect I don't think that is true for anyone. If you look at European sport then most have banned transgender athletes from any contact sport or the sport in general. There are only a few cases where athletes have been allowed and that's not the general public.

Children who like to identify as other genders or descriptions is something that will always be a difficult subject for most people because we simply can't understand why someone believes they are in the wrong body or why they wish to be different. It doesn't mean that we either agree or disagree. I would wager that most think it's just a phase and they will grow out of it but I agree schools can go to far by not mentioning their child's wishes to the parents. It is also quite hard to pause a child's gender development and I don't think in that case that the child can do anything without the parents permission. Gender reassignment is a relatively new issue and it seems many who have gone through it in the past now regret it but it doesn't mean we shouldnt be treating people with dignity and respect if they wish to be different.

                  Interesting:
300 containers every day; I'm surprised it's that few.
1 trillion items (1x10^12) that is a large number.
Let's assume we are talking about standard sized shipping containers so 40 ft x 8 ft x 8.5 ft = 2720 cubic ft = 4700160 cubic in
So each container has 1x10^12/300 = 3333333333 items per container (a large number)
So the size of each item is 4700160/3333333333 = 0.00141 cubic inches per item this means 0.112 in per side or 2.8 mm per side.
So the US is ordering a vast volume of very small items from China, but what are they?
Normally you could ship this size in a bulk ore carrier more cheaply.
