That was deliberate, the vicar dropped them off and hoped you might pay them.

Our nephew's childminder claimed 'she knew' that he had autism. That was purely based on the fact that his speech was slow to develop. She even tried to inform the school that he will be starting at in September but they refused point blank to discuss it with her without the parents being present. The parents didn't know she was going to do that. By the time the childminder made the report, the parents had removed their son from her care, so that may have had something to do with it. Our nephew started with a playgroup/child minder who said what a wonderful kid he was and how he got involved in everything (not typical of a child with autism I would suggest).
The point I'm making is that far too many people these days seem to be determined to attach labels to children, be that autism, ADHD or something else. Unless parents or close family members have seen behaviours which concern them, I would ignore such 'diagnosis'.

That becomes a problem if a precise delivery date isn't given and you are expecting more than one delivery. After the first delivery the box is locked so where are any other deliveries left?

Easy you have several boxes with a different delivery companies logo on each one.

I came across a plant tag laying on the lawn and now I need to wait a bit for the plants to emerge so I can restore it to it's proper place. It must be an English version of the species!

I believe the box can be opened multiple times with the code assigned. Only changing the code would make it stay locked until you gave out the new combination.

I have a combination lock on my front door. The deadbolt allows me to enter multiple codes and put in ones for trades people etc that I can simply delete when no longer needed.

My moan for today is that I 'lost' my bone china white mug 'somewhere' in the garden this afternoon. I did remember putting it down next to the washing basket as I'd walked that way. I got the bed linen off the washing line and had the intention of nestling the mug in in the top whilst I carried the basket down the steps into the porch.
Got inside the kitchen - no mug! Walked round and round the garden three times looking in all the likely places I could have put it, all to no avail.
Gave up and had a moan to OH who promptly volunteered to go and find it. He had a flash of inspiration, came back into the porch and found it in the peg basket.

You may well ask - why?

                  Talk about a senior moment!

@CanadianLori the second delivery driver could pinch the first delivery.

Yes, but it would be known who had the code. Our delivery drivers are, for the most part, honest. That said, I also have Cctv to watch anyone who approaches. It wouldn't stop things being stolen but puts the finger on them. So far I've had zero deliveries stolen.

KT53 I think one of the reasons parents like to have children diagnosed with something is for the money they can claim in benefits
