Just watching someone watering the grass verge, why do people not worry about being seen when they got to go and right outside of someone's house, not as bad as what went on at cheltham race's

In France and Belgium it's not unusual to see men stop their car at the roadside to pee on the verge but they usually use the car door to give some privacy. Walkers will go behind a tree, if there is one.

 

And how is it that women don’t do the same? We don’t have bladders built like industrial pressure cookers, so how do we manage to hold on until a civilised opportunity arises for us to relieve ourselves? If men can’t hold on from one public loo to the next they should wear incontinence pads.

I've seen women as well but it is mostly men, i don't have a problem with people peeing or pooing just do it some where quite and out of sight which there are lots of places where no one will see but outside a house and side of road in full veiw isn't

 

I often have a piddle in the woods, if you gotta go you gotta go..
We all do it, but not without a bit of cover.

 

I have bladder problems following pelvic radiotherapy some years ago. I can't bear the thought of wearing incontinence pads, and I'm not sure that I would trust them anyway, but I try to make sure that I am always close to a loo, public or otherwise. Being retired helps of course. But I don't think incontinence pads are always the answer.

 

Relieving oneself outside is OK in the middle of nowhere eg when out hiking of suchlike (most people are reasonably dicreet and go behind a tree or rock, or squat down in some bracken etc) but doing it by the roadside right in front of houses is a bit off. Surely it's not that far to a public loo (shops etc) or at least to somewhere away from people's homes. As bad as people who let their dogs do their business on the path/verge and don't pick it up.

 

It's my garden with plenty of trees so I can do what I like or have to.

 

@Jiffy you coud always whip out your camera and post the photo on a local FB or community site. Shame them into being discreet.
