How uncouth @Sheal . I do sympathise with you. When a new neighbour moved in here at the back he beheaded a conifer which then looked woeful. I asked him (politely) if there was any chance he could remove it entirely. "No" was the answer. Three years later it went so he must have had a change of heart. I can now see a Camellia in his garden which screens the space and flowers profusely in April. Plus I get lots more sun in my garden, without flashing lights :rolleyespink:.

More of other people parcels turning up today !!! even asked the company to change GPS location but that seem's to have fell on deaf ear's!!!!
Asked the driver if the GPS info can be changed, even he was pee-d off that he had to drive a bit furter down the road after stopping at our house  hopefully this will then help other driver's later

Hi @Jiffy most of the delivery companies round here use Google Maps to find addresses and mine was always being delivered about half a mile away so when I looked Google maps were showing my address wrongly half a mile away I then altered it to the correct location and Google corrected it within the week and I have had no problems since:smile:

You're lucky @wiseowl here they cannot tell the difference between a house and the local Church :wallbanging:

Just spent 10 minutes on the doorstep talking to a geezer from EE.
His English was minimal and he was so persistent and would not give up.

If he hadn't gone when he did it was going to get nasty.

Why do these so called respectable companies send these people round, if I want to change my broadband I can look it up on line, its all about, no copper cables now.

@pete Why didn't you just say "Not interested" and shut the door? There's no reason to waste 10 minutes of your time on cold callers.
We have a sign on the door, provided by our local police force basically telling cold callers to take a hike. It doesn't work all the time but does seem to discourage some.

yeah I normally do, but this bloke was very pushy and almost insulting.
He even used the F word at one point but not sure he knew what he was saying TBH.

@pete I had a double glazing salesman at the door not long after the notice was put on said door saying 'No Cold Callers'. I pointed at it and his response was "If I took any notice of those I'd never f(bleep)ing well sell anything". I did take the opportunity to say something along the lines of "Well you aren't f(bleep)ing selling anything here" and shut the door.

I'm all for exports, if we ramp up defense spending lets hope we export more to offset the cost to some degree.
I find it strange we should be dragging ourselves over the coals for supplying a few spares for what is an American plane.
