Hi can someone tell me what plants these are. I think the birds might dropped a seed sometime ago not sure
I looked up verbasum and yes it is thanks it's been in the garden for 0ver 4years and never had it grown till now it does look impressive And the other is Erynigum real thank you

It's not as if they're well camouflaged - here's one I spotted last year finishing off the last of the flowers
Tussock moths are a similar story - astonishing looking caterpillars, moths that you wouldn't even notice. I found a caterpillar when I was a teenager and kept it, fascinated as to what it would turn into. Huge anti-climax!
@Escarpment I misread that as 'Tunnock' moths. I thought the blighters were attacking my favourite teacakes and caramel wafers.
