Bought a small b&q one called loco for £1. Nothing else there. I'll be taking mine down to the allotment this weekend if the overnight forecast hold. They have been getting a lot of time outside during the day and are looking good.

Just noticed the first chilli of the year, aji camba. This was from a plug plant that would have been sown earlier than the ones I sowed. Ring of Fire, a reliable early cayenne type, is the first of the others to flower. They are a bit restricted at the moment though in one liter pots.

None of my banana chilli seeds sprouted last year. Used the same method this year using a lot more seeds just in case there was a lot of failures. Yes my garden Summer House is now filled with chilli plants.

All planted, 24 in the greenhouses, mainly in pots but about 5 in the border between tomatoes

I've got mine planted today too. All are in the greenhouses. I need to reconfigure some of the watering for the hanging pots but the capillary for the lower ones is in place.

Got a few more from b&q who have a few more varieties in for £2 each. Orange habanero, atomic and purple gusto. These are in smaller pots outside and I've covered them with fleece.

                  Hello all,

Nearly finished planting now. All chillies are in the greenhouse. Just 8 more tomato plants to transfer from the grow tent to the other greenhouse and then we are done.

This year I'm growing Jalapeno (Goliath), Jalapeno (Mammoth), Shishito and Birds Eye (see photos below...).

No super hot chillies this year.

Aji Camba miles ahead of any others. A couple of the other Aji varieties have started to fruit too

So many greenfly and green aphids on my 16 chilli plants, they’ve not moved over to the 6 bell peppers yet though. Found a solitary ladybird on some sunflowers so move her in there and she started munching straight away. Now hunting for ladybirds, so few around this year, guess it’s because of the weather this year

Down here on the Solent they seem to have appeared since/because of the change from Easterly to Southwesterly airflow. Force six seems to be a challenge however !

Mine lost most of their leaves when I put them out in spring and are just now filling out new ones. Goes to show rushing sets you back!

White fly attack in the greenhouse again, not too severe, controlling them with fly trap sticky paper and squishing them between finger and thumb, they can live outside, but not allowed in the greenhouse, sorry.
