What's looking Exotic 2025

From my packet of mixed Tasmanian seed bought in Sydney Botanical Gardens six years ago.
Melaleuca virens.

My Melaleuca is blooming too, a contrast to the fading brushes of the Callistemon.

Planted up the Aeoniums for the summer.


Just another couple of the proteas that are still opening.

 

Mine is still budding up outside John, have you had that indoors all winter?

Thanks, I had an idea it belonged to the Proteas because of its form, but wasn't quite sure.

 

Disa - I find these very tricky

 

I have never heard of them but very interesting.

 

I obviously also find photography tricky! I'll try to focus properly next time!

I think I've managed to get a few seeds through the winter on the Butia odorata, the pulp around the seed is said to be edible, I've had a small taste and its got a sweet fruity flavour.
