            It was in the frost free greenhouse until today. I don't leave it outside as its got top heavy and easily blows over.

                        I think I've managed to get a few seeds through the winter on the Butia odorata, the pulp around the seed is said to be edible, I've had a small taste and its got a sweet fruity flavour.
