Can someone please name this plant for me, I've forgotten it and the label is lost ...

Ah yes, Alocasia, now you've said the name I can remember it ... Old age is creeping up on me !

I think that could well be Colocasia.

 

Colocasia Black Velvet, I have one but much smaller.

I don't recall the name though so I'll have to put a label with it.

I think you will find Alocasia leaves point upwards and Colocasia leaves drop downwards .
