    Hi Pete.

Have to say that my little rant was not aimed at you or anyone in the Forum who we may have sent free plants to, am sure you and others here know how to look after plants better than us  - its just local folk who seem to take advantage.

Your Polka Dot is looking grand, though it does seem to be one of the strongest growers, some can seem quiet weak, did the others come to anything ?

Have lost a few of our original Streps so ordered 5 more plug plants from Dibleys earlier this year and three are already in flower.
Might be growing more Streps are they do seem to flower for so long compared to the Phal Orchids.

Some pics below, was thinking of putting them in the Show us your Close Ups thread but its so windy even in the greenhouse they are not that clear.

Apologies to @Purple Streaks if we seem to be taking her thread a bit off subject .

Strep Caitlin, another good flowerer, but the leaves often seem a bit droopy compared to the others.
Where do you over winter yours ? tried a few different places but in the Orchid enclosure (min15c) means they keep growing, long term lower temps and they seem to suffer.

Yes, was a new one to us this year, just one of the many plug plants in the local garden centers you see around March time.

Often thought of a trip over to see this specialist Fuchsia grower though they close to the public late June, not far from you ? but Brutus is not on their stock list ?

I keep them in my conservatory year round, they get total shade all summer but some sun in winter, it rarely goes below about 7c in there on the coldest nights.
Its always around 20c in daytime.
