Heating up very quickly so have just given up working out there. It is just edging 30C :phew:

Next door's cat asked to come in and is sitting next to me in the aircon. He will soon ask to go out as he doesn't like it as cool as I do. His best friend, the calico cat died two days ago and he is a bit clingy at the moment.

That was sudden but you did say she was breathing heavily. I think she couldn't cope with the outdoors. RIP sweet Calico. :cat-kittyandsmiley:

I’ve upped the heat-management game by adding an extra curtain in the lounge. Just in the nick of time for the midday sun.

Still mostly overcast but sun breaking out occasionally. New Solar panels connected this morning producing well 106% of capability. Only 24c but love it ... sometimes it is nice not to have the sun beating down on you so we sat out earlier.

                  :rolleyespink:

Ours have just reached 9kW which should help with the airconditioning. Ollie the Cat asked to go out as it is time for his regular patrol. He must have read the book Six Dinner Sid as he certainly tries to emulate him. :heehee:

It is 72f 20c and a bit cloudy. The guessers say that we also will be going up into the 30 c's 90+F and humidity will also be high. I need to work on calibrating a bunch of sprinkler heads, particularly on that I put in a couple of years ago but haven't used the system until now. And that head is super duty - I actually think it is meant for golf courses so I will really have to tone it down. A good day for having to get doused repeatedly with cold water :dbgrtmb:

I've only got my outdoor sensors in the shade, even the ones in the greenhouse are kept in shaded spots. This interesting because I've been looking at the "humidex" "real feel" interpretations of various scenarios and just recently, one of the weather forecasters is quoting real feel sun, real feel shade. I did not know that anybody ever took temperature readings in the sun when reporting to the general public and not for scientific purposes. Very interesting!

I agree. On our really hot days we are 50-odd in the sun, about like in Saudi or somewhere! :yikes:

That's what all my readings are but we have sunny areas of the garden (with some sun) and some areas that don't get any sun because of the trees.
