Agapanthus "Twister" was an impulse buy last year on a visit to Hill House. It's not flowering this year, but it's growing.

My agapanthus are doing well this year. I love Twister Nigel. I have a smaller one with almost black stems and navy blue flowers. Cannot remember its name, which I particularly like.

I've never been tempted by Agapanthus before but the Twister could persuade me.
When I was a child my grandmother's friend was having problems with kids kicking footballs into her garden and then coming in to retrieve them. So she put a sign up: "Beware of the Agapanthus". No more problems.
Wouldn't work today of course with Google!

A pack of just pink tigridia at local store actually was pink! (The yellow and orange ones are great, but not next to pink alstroemeria.)
