Good morning all, cloud and sun with a high of 21c ,more rain expected this evening.

 

Damp and heavy cloud. Everything is soaked amd my pelargoniums have gone mushy amd moldy. Max 21c.

My plastic rain measuring container, an old dvd tub, has about an inch of rain in it.

For tomorrow we have a weather warning for sunny intervals. I think they have the wrong day - it should be today - thunder and lightning.

 

It’s the coolest it’s been for weeks and the garden has been watered fairly well. Thunder warning still in place but haven’t heard any yet.

Forecast rain this afternoon. We just had a light shower but not enough for me to even bring in the washing.

 

Forecasts are a joke. Met Office gives 80% to 90% chance of heavy rain here, starting about 2 hours ago. BBC is giving 20% to 30% chance of showers. Haven't seen either yet. How can 2 forecasts be so different?

 

My water butts runneth over( but it is dry at the moment and 16 degrees.

Feeling cold and windy with drizzle from time to time, we have reverted to a normal summer now I'm thinking.
18c.

 

It is 70f 14c but very humid. Lots of free water fell last night but the sun is breaking through the clouds and it looks like a good time to get the clothes washer going. The guessers say we'll be getting up to around 84f 27c which is wonderful. I DO want it to feel like summer, good and warm, but getting spoiled by it not being too hot.
