        I've got both Buddleias @LunarSea, they are very similar but I think yours is Royal Red. This is Black Knight.

        You're right about the Miscanthus flowering early, by about a month I think. Is it telling us something we don't want to know? :biggrin:

          That rings a vague bell, but I have no further information.
          It went in a sheltered spot about 2018 and these are the first flowers.
