Cloudy with a chance of a shower, 15 degrees and light breeze, just picked some Strawberries to have with my cereals, nice start to the day.

We got a light shower yesterday evening, maybe half a mm. It had evaporated by the time I checked the gauge this morning.

Today is sunnier, some cloud but no rain in the forecast.

The guessers say that this will be the last day of the heat wave. We've been up around 100f 33c with today forecast to just hit 92f 30c or so for the last little while so a break from it will be pleasant.

I'm looking forward to having the windows wide open again :fingers crossed:

It’s definitely warmer now, sunny once more, around 24c.

I would give everything for seeing that. I’m fed up with all the sunshine this year.

Bearing in mind most of our year is cold damp and miserable I'm never one to knock it when we get an occasional freak spell of good weather.
It's looking like summer has gone around here and autumn is here already.
God knows what will happen tomorrow, thunder storms forecast, but up until now July has been the wettest month this year apart from January.
77mm and counting, not great for our so called main summer month.

It's trying to brighten up again but not managing it, 23c which is not exactly scorching.

A hot breeze and 35.7c. I am beginning to feel unwell ... always do with the continuous heat, day and night. It was different when I was 35 years younger.

@pete cold, damp and miserable are only 5 months a year (November to March). The rest is a mix of sunny and grey weather.
I would enjoy the sunny weather @Jiffy if it would rain in between and we had the one or other grey day, as we had recently in July. But 4 months in row sunshine is too much. I’m have never been that “Spain” fan.

24C and sunny but clammy. Rain forecast for tomorrow. It's about a month since proper rain with the odd few minutes of drizzle a couple of times in between. Only two other good days of rain in the last four months. Sprinkler was working overtime.

@pete, that awful sunshine started on 2 March and it stayed like this until the first June week when we had a few days of grey skies. Another 5 weeks sunshine followed by some cloudy days this current week.
Wiltshire has got all the solar farms because of the sunshine here. If they have an impact on the drought, I don’t know but it’s more than weird that rain has always split around the solar farms areas here in the north of Wiltshire.

It’s 19 degrees this morning! Weird. It wasn’t that hot yesterday but cloud must have acted like a duvet overnight. Thundery showers forecast today.
