Whats Your Weather Like 2025

No idea what will happen to day. One paper says we are going to have a heat wave when another says we are going to be hit by a storm. Just overcast and a bit windy looking out the window at the moment. No idea about outside temperatures as I am curled up on the sofa with a cup of coffee.

 

The heatwave has been moved to next week. There were too many Lows queuing, they had no appointment for a High.

 

We had a little bit of drizzly rain this morning. The forecasts are mixed as to whether we'll get any more today and tomorrow.

 

The sun was burning hot when out but it is covered by a hazy layer of clouds now. It feels muggy (cue headache) but the breeze is picking up. Think we will miss the main storm tomorrow but forecast shows some high winds midday so I must bring in the parasol and secure my poly greenhouse.

 

It clouded over around midday and is grim looking again now, bit of a breeze blowing, no, its windy.

We had a decent little bit of rain over lunch time / early afternoon. Now the wind is picking up. I'm very glad I reorganised the patio last week, moving all the tomato plants into a line along the wall. I've got sunflowers about to open and hope they don't get hit too hard. I've put in supports where I can but the ground is still so dry.

 

Just a hot day, 35c for several hours. Only 33c now ..............

 

Things are now battened down, auto openers on the greenhouse disconnected and windows clamped shut, they reckon we might get 70 mph wind tomorrow...................gulp

 

It turned out to be a miserable day with not much rain, as usual. A bit humid.

Tomorrow we should get more rain at midday and the winds will be only 17mph. So we are lucky compared to those up north.
